Next month’s Phoenix Marketer’s meeting will be hosting an interesting and eye-opening discussion on needs-based audience segmentationby Susan Baier of Audience Audit.

She will be presenting some real-life examples of audience segmentation work for both B2C and B2B clients and will give some great insight into how it’s done, why it’s needed and how it can help any marketing effort be more relevant and more effective!

May Phoenix Marketers Meeting - Navigating Tough Financial Waters

Not sure whether a 401k matching program or Roth 401k’s are best for your company? As a freelancer, do you know exactly what can be deducted from your taxes? This month’s marketing meeting will answer these and other tough financial questions for employers, employees, the self-employed. Leading this month’s discussion will be McKenna Stephens, CLTC and Clarisa Hernandez of North Star Resource Group. They will be providing appetizers and cocktails - so come hungry!

Phoenix Marketers is a monthly social meetup for Arizona marketing professionals who want to share ideas, give advice, and offer resources for dealing with the ever-increasing complexity of the marketing industry. These meetings are meant to be very laid-back, so be ready to discuss and/or yell at Steve at any given point during his presentation. Wii, pool, and air hockey are also available for your post-presentation enjoyment.

February 'Super' Meeting

The second meeting of the Phoenix Marketers has been set for February 19th at 7:00 p.m. Considering our very own Cardinals took a swing at Superbowl stardom, we thought it only fitting to have this month’s meeting be centered around the ads from the big game. We all have our opinions, so let’s gather, watch, and hash out the best ads (Careerbuilder!), the worst (ahem, GoDaddy), and everything in between.

It will be held at Gangplank offices in Chandler, AZ.

Mark your calendars, and be sure to invite anyone you think would be interested in coming!

January Meeting Set!

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to sign up on LinkedIn and Twitter! (We’ve also added a Facebook group for those who are interested.)

So…now what? We had originally hoped to have a meeting in September, but it looks like early October might be a bit more stable, so we’re shooting for then. We’ll get a location and date nailed down very soon.

I’m currently working on getting speakers lined up for the next few months, so if you’re interested in participating get in touch and let me know.

There’s been tremendous interest so far, and I can’t wait to get this thing kicked off!
